This year racing season starts early. Now I got to actually get my truck together for racing. I will still be running the STRR Evo. This will be an interesting year. There are new schedules and one of the tracks is only running 1 race monthly so hopefully we will have more people. I am tired of running with electric trucks. That is all...

Well Bitches!  It's been over a year since I've been here.  Figured it was time for me to check in again.  Been busy as hell with life.  Got myself a degree business administration.  Something the ole folks here that know me know I have been working on for a very long time.  That's done and over with.  Got my wife pregnant.  So have a new one on the way when I have the other one almost out the door.  WTF!  Right?  It's all good..........gonna be great raising another one.  Keep me young......well somewhat young.  lol

Last year we had the 9 Principle characters/actors from Star Trek: TNG and that was nucking futz. They had something like 50,000 people a day show up and the fire department cam and stopped people from going in. I am not sure how you can top last year but this year I bought a 3 day pass and plan to take my time, explore and soak it all in.

The kids have Friday off as well so I am bringing the Timbits and Mrs. Soup

Most of you on here don't know me but I have a favor to ask.  Here is my quick back story. I have been overweight most of my life. When I was younger, it wasn't a problem because I stayed pretty active. In college I got into riding mountain bikes and stayed in pretty good shape.  Fast forward many years and I have let myself go pretty badly. A little over a year ago, I found out that I had diabetes. The doctor put me on medicine and I started pricking my finger daily. I did pretty good for a couple of months and then it was back to my old ways.

Captain's Log. Stardate: whatever.

Yesterday I ran 10 miles again, the 2nd time in two weeks. My legs are really sore today. It's kind of amazing to me how much energy those long runs can drain from you. Took me 92 minutes.

I am super happy because my older son who is 9 told me he would like to run in a 1 mile track race at school. That's awesome! I will be cheering him on.
