Road Trip

Saturday morning I woke up in a great mood, I drove to town and got a great cup of coffee and breakfast for Smoke & I.  When I got back from town Smoke was still in bed but I wasn't waiting for him to get up so I woke him up in my own happy go bouncy mood.  I told him it was such a nice day we needed to go somewhere and either see someone or just go do something fun.  We decided that Drost was only a 6 hour drive so we called Drost and loaded up the Corvette.  The drive to his house was shit because the roads here don't match the Google maps so we got turned around a few times but we still made it there in 6 hours.  It wasn't real late when we got there but it was late enough that it was time for Kaya (Drost little girl) to get to bed.  She is one of the sweetest and cutest little girls I've ever met   We chatted for a little bit then we decided to make a run to Wal-Mart because Smoke and I needed pillows to sleep with.  We couldn’t all fit in Smokes car so Drost drove us in his New Civic (I think) and it was a smooth ride, roomy and nice. We may have looked a little strange walking through Wal-Mart, no cart just three people walking around with their arms full of pillows and beer. I guess that’s typical for a college town lol. Once we got back to his house the baby and the misses were asleep so the boys began the video games. Mostly it was just arcade games which were fun, we played Peggle, Geo Wars 2 and they played Castle (I think that’s what it was). This little trip was great! Sunday morning I couldn’t sleep late because the sunlight shown so bright through the windows it just wasn’t possible. Smoke and Drost took the Vette out to play some golf and I got to hang out with Steph (Drost’s wife) and Kaya. It was nice, I got along good with the wife and maybe now sometime they can come visit us. What this little weekend trip did was make me even more excited about the LAN, it was great hanging out and playing video games with Drost. It just wasn’t enough, bring on the LAN.
