Well, I was lucky enough to be among 12 or so local Bostonites who met with some of the PA and Reed Exhibititions folks who are planning PAX East. The dates have been confirmed for March 26 - 28, 2010 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA. I am lucky enough to live close by and will definitely be on hand. You can keep tabs on updates and announcements for PAX East at www.paxsite.com/paxeast/index.php . Khahil, Bill & Greg from the PA crew made it very clear that PAX East will not be the stepchild of the Seattle event, but will be a stand-alone entity of its own. I fully anticipate that this event will sell out early, so be sure to grab your tickets soon. They are available right now at the main PAX East site above. I hope to be able to contribute again during the planning stages for this event and will keep you posted on any news that I get.
2old2play Chi-LAN
Speaking of great gaming gatherings (GGG's if you will, or Triple-G's if you prefer), the planning for the Chicago LAN is well under way and we are currently working to contact industry partners to get them involved. We will be donating proceeds from this event to benefit Child's Play. If you are not familiar with this awesome charity that provides video games and cool swag to sick kids, check them out at www.childsplaycharity.org/ . Get your tickets now as you will not want to miss this event and prices will only go up as August 7th approaches. Also, we are looking for input from the community on what you would like to see at the LAN. So if there is a particular company that you would like us to contact, or if you have an event idea, let us know. This event is for you, the 2oldplay community, so help us make this the best LAN yet.
