Interviews, Articles and Such

Well, I finally got my first interview (with Chris DiBari) in the can and ready to post. Keep an eye on the front page as this should be going up very soon (come on Drost/doodi/DSmooth/Codemonkey, it's not like you have a website to remodel or anything ) . The process of editing the interview was quite a (painful) learning experience for me. Hat's off to DSmooth, CodeMonkey and all the other bloggers out there that make it look and sound some damn flawless. Let me tell you, it is a ton of work. I have no idea how CodeMonkey churns out three podcasts and one vidcast per week. You are a MACHINE Sir!

Also in the can is the first article in my series on Classic Gaming - Digital Memories. Look for this to show up on the front page sometime this week as well. I hope to publish a new article every two week and will be giving away free classic gaming SWAG in conjunction with each and every article thanks to "So-Cal" Mike over at www.chasethechuckwagon.com. Mike runs a first class auction site for gaming goodies and also just kicked off his new Retro Gaming Roundup podcast. So head over to the Wagon and check out some of the cool classic consoles, games and memorabilia that is up for grabs on the site.

Community Stuff

So now that my first interview is wrapped, I can get back to working on some Community Management things (and also working on interviews 2 and 3 that need to be editied - No Rest for the Wicked I guess). First up, I need to get back in touch with the folks at SFX_360 about partnering on a cross-community event. There seems to be alot of interest in doing more events where we reach out to other communities. I plan to keep these events low key and focus on the fun aspect. I will also be working with varius vendors and sponsors to score some SWAG for give-away in conjunction with these events, so be sure to keep an eye on the Community Announcements Forum for updates.
