Growth of my Business

As some of you may know, I have been working to set up a litle side business selling and reburbishing vintage video games in partnership with a local comic book store in my area. I am slowly expanding the footprint of my wares at this store and currently have two cases of consoles and games on display. I am negotiating a deal with another local store that deals in vintage games and LAN services to possibly set up a satellit of their existing business at my current location. If this all comes together, I will be able to leverage thier experience and inventory while bringing them exposure in a new community. Thing are still up in the air at this point, but looking good so far. If this partnership goes forward, I will expand my current space to approximately 500 sq feet within the store. Digital Memories Issue # 2 Ready, Waiting on Site Issues

Well, the second Issue of DM - The 8-bit Era is in the can and ready to go. Unfortunately Drost had some computer issues which is dealying updates to the Front Page, but expect to see the new issue go up soon. If you entered the Issue # 1 contest for the Atari 7800 system, be sure to keep you eyes on the Front Page as the winner will be announce. I will also be offering up more cool vintage gaming swag compliments of Chase the Chuckwagon, so be sure to check out Issue #2 when it is posted. A huge "Thank You" goes out to Drost and the site admins for all of the help that they give to make sure this site runs smoothly. Often, their work goes under-appreciated or ignored. Thanks for the great job folks!

SWAG on the Way

If you have won SWAG through this blog and have not received it yet, fear not. I am heading by the Post Office on my way into work today to mail out all pending prizes. So be on the lookout for you goodies in the following week. I have been working hard getting planning for the LAN and fund raiser for Child's Play off the ground, so the flow of SWAG has slowed a bit. But fear not, more cool gaming stuff will be given away soon, very soon.
