Feeling Low on a High Note

Hello folks. I just returned from a double shift today and am coming down with some sort of bug, which sucks because I am fresh out of sick time at work. So I will make this one short in an attempt to hit the sheets early tonight (and by "early" I mean before Midnight). We just received a review copy of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection by Sega for the PS3 in the mail today and will distributing it to one of the members of the Press & Writers Team for a full review. So keep an eye out for this on the Front Page. If you are interested in becoming a writer for the site and perhaps do some game reviews, please let NoGame, Drost or doodirock know. We all collaborate on the various stories you see on the front page by giving each other feedback and proofing one another's articles. So you will not be on your own if you decide to write something.
 

Grudge Match with SFX360 is Back On
 

I spoke with SFX_Pallidian today and we have confirmed that the postponed "Grudge Match between 2old2play and SFX360 is back on and tentatively scheduled for Sunday, March 15th. This event will consist of three separate divisions: 1) COD 2) Gears of War 2 3) Halo 2. 3 separate teams from each site will compete in Head to Head Death matches with each team concentrating on one of the game titles. The site that wins the best 2 out of three matches will be declared the victor. Of course, we will have some SWAG to hand out to the winning teams and some other surprises. I am working with the SFX360 crew to finalize details and should have an official announcement out very soon. So get ready to represent 2old2play and kick some South Florida butt!
 

Monthly 2old2play Internal Community Playdate
 

I am also finalizing a schedule for a monthly Internal Community Playdate for current 2old2play members. This event will occur once a month and will focus on a different game title each month. With the success of the XBL CPD, I have received a ton of messages from 2old2play members who wanted to see us repeat this event for other games. We can only host one CPD per year on XBL, but we certainly can get together each month amidst ourselves. As with all our the events that I am working on, I hope to secure some cool SWAG to give away to the members participating each month, similar to what we did for the Street Fighter IV Launch Party. So once again stay tuned, cause we have a lot of cool stuff planned for our members.
