I was lucky enough to score a couple of last-minute tickets to see these bands at the new House of Blues in Boston last night and let me tell you, it was quite a show! I have been a big fan of Dope and Sevendust for some time. Both bands put on a very tight show with tons of energy. I never really followed Black Label Society, but have to hand it to Zack Wylde (former Ozzy Guitarist and leader of BLS), the guy can play a guitar. Hell, he even pulled out a piano at one point and did a tribute to Dime Bag Daryl from Pantera. Who new this guy was good on the keys as well. Anyway, got to bed around 2 am this morning and of course my ears are ringing and my neck is aching from being in the pit for close to four hours. Been a long time since I hit a show like this and I really missed the energy. Made me feel alive again after a couple of shitty weeks. For those of you unfamiliar with these bands:
