"Be carefeul what one wishes for it may indeed come that way." In days past I'd dream of all my days off, digging through mountains of pizza boxes to find that bloody missing controler or remote. Yes, those would be the days annd I wished post hast for them to ring the doorbell announcing this was indeed the day. That morning I did not feel quite well and when a sweat broke out doing nothing more that sipping my morning coffee, Houston did have a problem. I got dressed and went to the doctor. By now it was like a tank was parked on my chest. EKG was done just to tell me I'm in the middle of a heart attack. Your's truly the anti smoker and drinker was hitting the wall.

I got to the ER and my heart doctor said we'd place some stents in since the "widowmaker" was 75% blocked. Off to the operating room I go at Nascar speeds. The heart attack indeeed came after I woke up on the reccovery room bed. All was well for a bit that those signs came back for a visit. I was informed that another heart attack indeed was on the way and stents was no longer an option. Quad bypass with a side of fries for me this time. Bad eating habits were here to collect the toll.

I came through it just to have another light heart attack on the other side. Even more good goods. Testing showed I'm diabetic and a good case of arthritis in my spine which explained my comstant back pain. Glad to be alive by all means but not ready for the battle ahead. The goverment said (of course) I was able to work and to me a big fat no and get my fat ass to work. Attorney's won't look at you your case until you get the second turn down from Good Ole Uncly Sammy. That cams soon enough and I got a good, (not cheap) laywer that took my case with arms and wallets wide open. I did win my case but not in time to save our house and credit. My loving and chamrming wife stood with me and stands with me until this day, God Bless that woman!

I hope to make some firends on here because it does get boring daily. I hope all will take the heed and don't put things off until it's almost too late. Doctors are for sick people and some of us may be sicker than we think

An eye opener, for sure.

I'll feel less reluctant going for a walk with my wife today.

Oops, checked weather. -10C with -20C wind chill. Maybe tomorrow.

One can never be too careful, as I learned the hard way. Perhaps if I'd got my yearly checkup's, things might be different fo me. Happy to still be kicking evenn if it's not quite as high as it used to be.

Keep those tires lit and guns blazing,
