revelations on the road

Month three was packed with revelations. I started playing social slayer nearly every game to practice killing without the distraction of an objective. The first major revelation was realizing how simple the spawning was on narrows. Being a small linear map made it very easy to pickup what was going on, now that i knew the map and wasn't so overwhelmed in every confrontation. This also gave me insight as to how very little the majority of players are even thinking about anything other than pulling a trigger.

Grasping that little bit of information was like giving a crack head a wee little rock. I knew i wanted the understanding of strategy in the game. Now that i had a taste, i needed it! The problem now was finding it. While i had gotten some good advice on different aspects of the game from the other users on Bungie.net, i wasnt' having any luck finding strategies for specific maps. In my humble opinon, very few of the players there posses the information i was looking for. Those that did, really didn't seem to want to share that type of information.

I tried posting to threads in nearly every forum, and creating my own to ask questions as well. Always i would recieve the same information, just stated a different way. And the information that i got was so general and vague, it was basically useless. One of the threads i created was geared towards playing as a random. Every response was the same. Don't play as a random, use a team(but not my team, because you suck).

AND THEN THERE IT WAS...THE KEY TO THE INFORMATION I HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR! Someone sent me a message about a website for older gamers. "To old for something", he said. I immediately searched out and joined this website. They were the sorriest bunch of loosers...oh, did i say that out loud. I meant to say, I FINALLY FOUND MY HOME! The players on this site were actually respectful, intelligent, and matu...well, older. Mature is a very subjective word i guess.
