Forming a Halo Player... Log entry 2...

I realized i just did the first one this morning but I figure it'll be easier to remember everything if I do it right after we stop playing...

Like clock work she started playing when she got home from work today.  I'm at the office when I receive this text message:

I was very excited for her, 8 kills and her ka/d was a 1!  So I get home and am watching her play, she's definitely looking better but she's still not watching her mini map like she should be.  There was one moment where she had 2 guys right beside her on the right and she turns to look towards the left.  And I kept having to remind her to reload. So my plan is to watch her for a few games each night and then I'll play with her... Well it depends on if I have another night like tonight myself or not!

After watching her play a few I log in and get ready to play with her.  And I play horribly.  How horribly? Well shortly after we started playing she was giddy enough to get to take this picture:

In case you can't see it (she's the highlighted one), she has 7 kills and 7 deaths.  Yes, a 1.0!  But you may notice something else. Yes, that's me below her.  Also with 7 kills and 7 deaths.  and *2 less assists than her*.  I couldn't get her to stop giggling after that game.  But it gets worse:

Yep, that's me on the bottom with only 2 kills.  She was 4 kills ahead of me.  Granted it would have been better if she had gone positive, but she still beat me, and she's loving every minute of it.  So I threw the xbox 360 in the trash and we're going to take up hang gliding.

Haha just kidding, she did great tonight under the circumstances that she's literally 3 days into Halo 4 so I'm hoping it won't take too long before she's going positive *and* beating me!

Oh yeah so here's the results for today... Remember before we started she had a .22 k/d.  As of right now she has a .37 k/d - she brought it up that much!  Her W/L went from 42.8 to 43.3, not a huge difference but it still went up.  In contrast I went from a 1.39 to a 1.19 in one night.  But my W/L did go from a 37% to a 47%. Suck on that girlfriend. haha!

My hava is in the storage building so I'll have to find it but I've saved a few of her first games and I'll definitely record them, probably this weekend.  In the meantime I'll keep those of you viewing up to date on her progress. I'll also let you know if I get my head out of my ass or not... Stay tuned!
