Forming a Halo Player... 7

Well the good news is Mato is still playing every night. She even plays while I'm at work still and most of the time she doesn't even tell me, so I know she's enjoying it. The first few nights after my last blog post you could tell she was trying hard to accomplish the first goal (3 games with 5 or less deaths).  Then on the 7th we decided to play with the guys I used to play Halo 3 with.  We played some BTB with them but they aren't used to playing it and we kept getting owned by a Scorpion we could just not get close enough to to take out.  So we went to the 4v4 maps.  Mato didn't like this as much because she was more visible with less people.  Another unsual thing I don't remember from Halo 3, we found the people were staying clumped together more.  That was bad when we were spread out because if one of us came into focus 4v1 you were dead.  So we tried sticking together but that's just not our playing style and we had a horrible night.  The last game we played with them she went 3 and 12.  And as promised, here's the video footage for you guys:

BUT...  To add insult to injury:

Yep, My k/d was actually worse than hers that game.  I did get the most assists though.  So that brought my k/d down from I think a 1.3 to a 1.19 in one night, I did not do well.  But this isn't about me (or since I'm the one working with her, is it?)...

Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to play with her much since then. Last night I was watching her and she's reverted back on a lot of things. She's not reloading, she's not watching her minimap, and her retical is usually not on the enemy as she shoots at them.  I'm not quite ready to give up on her yet though, I'm just going to have to spend more time with her than I currently am.

So here's the surprising part... Her k/d hasn't moved it's still .35!  So at least she's not going down.  She still hasn't reached that first goal either although she's gotten close.  Time to kick it up a notch.

There was one game she did really well in, if I remember correctly she had double kills and below 5 deaths. Hopefully it's still on the 360 as much as she's been playing.  If it is I'll post it tomorrow.
