Medal of Honor Limited Edition

As expected, Electronic Arts is releasing a limited edition of Medal of Honor coming out this October. Clearly they are trying to up the ante against the new Call of Duty: Black Ops game due out in November.

In spite of this, I am still a little reluctant to go ahead and purchase, or pre-order, this game due to my bad experience with Battlefield Bad Company 2. See my rant about this game here. Nevertheless, it would be awesome to get a leg up on the multiplayer competition with some badass shotgun action.

With the purchase of the limited edition, the user will be able to gain early access to the MP7, TOZ-194, and 870MC2 shotguns. You can get these guns in the regular game, but you have to rank up to get them. Also, with a pre-order of the limited edition you can get a beta key to the demo of Medal of Honor due to be released on the Xbox 360, it’s already out on the PS3 and PC.

Like I said before, I may just rent this game and as opposed to buying it, but after reading and seeing this, I may just go ahead and fork over the $60 to get it. Clearly, if MOH doesn’t live up to the hype, there is always the option to trade it in for COD: Black Ops. View the trailer below.
