QWERTY-BLOCKED!

Thumps

Mystery for the day:

Why do some cats love sitting on keyboards?

Are the spongey switches sensuously supportive to furry posteriors?

Are they trying to teach us their secret cat-phabet, composed of groups of tri-chorded characters (3 keys per paw press)?

Or are they simply QWERTY blocking us, making the physical statement that our fingers should be stroking them instead of the keys?

It's a ploy to get your fingers off the keyboard and onto them. I would read the paper on the floor and mine would lie directly in the middle.
