So excited to have 5 days off starting tomorrow!

I'm less excited about hosting Thanksgiving at our house, but I'll manage.

I also booked a vacation for Dean and I to Costa Rica in March. We haven't gone anywhere in a long, long, time. If anyone has been and has some absolute must-see/do advice, let me know. We're staying near Manuel Antonio Park on the mid-Pacific side. Word on the street is to get out of San Jose as soon as possible.

I haven't been playing nearly enough Black Ops as I would like to. I just work too much . I fully expect to get some good rank in over the next week as a I lounge around in pajamas, showering in the late afternoon, eating leftovers from Thanksgiving, and candy from Halloween. Life will be good.

I don't think I like BO as much as MW2 - gameplay / weapons-wise. But I do like all the added features and things to do. I feel like I'll be able to keep interest a little bit longer. We'll see...Is anyone going to run a BO MML? Soup? Maybe I should check the forums...

Do you surf? I wouldn't recommend Costa Rica unless you surfed, the beaches aren't that nice. There is a good surf school were you are heading, on a beach called Nosara. http://www.richardschmidt.com/cr_location.html Just make sure to take all the essentials. It gets pretty primitive once you leave San Jose.

I went to Costa Rica for my honeymoon and we loved it. On that side we stayed at a place called Playa Conchal and it was fabulous. Monkey's in trees and there were these extremely large lizards that wandered the golf course by the hotel that you could walk out and see in the mornings. As far as attractions, if you have the opportunity to get to the Arenal Volcano it is must go. They have these awesome natural springs at the base of the volcano (that is active and erupts) and these springs form rivers that flow all through this vegetation. People just get in anywhere along the way and sit in the natural pools/streams that form. Its awesome! We also really like the Monteverde cloud forest if you are into hiking or the nature thing. Was super cool to walk through some of the old growth forest there. San Jose sucks.

Lots of bug spray. My legs were hamburger from the knee down after 1 week at the beach. Also, as always, if you see a hole in the wall restaraunt with no tourists there...STOP and go in! I dont remember a bad meal there. I recommend the dark beer...something negro...very good.
