@Tank - I've got the 706. @Midnighter - Mostly price - I wanted the extra size and if I were going to do the LED, I'd want the 240Hz and that's about a 2,000 price difference between the 55 inch 240Hz LED and 58 inch plasma. And, I've got the room darkening window treatments, so a plasma will work well in my space...

Oh nice. Yeah those blinds you have on the side window look like they block everything out. I have an HD Projector and I have the same issue with light leaking in. Now here is the real question. Why is COD in there and not Halo? lol

Very nice. If you ever need a recommendation on AV, let me know. A good friend owns his own high end custom install company, and has hooked me up big time. E.g. - if you want a sub, Velodyne is the way to go. :)

i have never used a blog. i'm not even sure what or how i should post? i could just add to this one, like i am doing now. or, do i somehow start a new thread? funny to think that when i joined 2old2play i didn't even know how to post in a forum...now i am a post whore fo sho...lol maybe as time goes on i will learn to love blogs? my grammar/spelling suck, and i am no writer. sure would have paid off to love english class. the update for me is that i am now an Overtoad for 2old2pwn!!! woohoo! it has been fun so far getting more involved in the clan and how it moves forward from here. i sat on the sidelines for too long.....i needed to give a little back to a clan that has given me so much. see ya, ded
