just read the Crackdown abandoned article, and it's a little misleading as no, we won't see a crackdown 2 as Real Time Worlds next project, but they aren't completely abandoning the concept. I think I like the APB MMO concept more anyways at this point.

The 360 Arcade comes with an HDMI output, but does it have the new processors? Also I can hook up my hard drive to it and "wala" it's a premium 360 correct w/ HDMI right?

Kewl, you missed all that? They fired the guy who reviewed it and gave it a lower score because EDIOS was paying Gamespot large advertising dollars for K&L, even skinned their site for a few days in K&L stuff. Hvaing a bad review would kind of look back so gamespot edited the reviewers review and upped it's score then fired the guy who wrote it. Though Cnet (who owns GS) says he wasn't fired because of that but... ya right whatever.

PS3 sucks even more! What a joke taking a shot a Microsoft after a 5 gig install and a 90 min. cutscene! I could proably change the disk 50 times in the time it takes MGS4 to install. One of the reasons I don't game on my computer is because of installs and hard drive space.

hey well here is my question, if they do switch to blue ray players, will i still be able to play my old 360 games on it? and also look at the ps3 games they are more expensive then the 360 games by i think 10 bucks on avg, so does that mean we will see another increase in cost to our games? im really getting tired of ms kicking out a different 360 every couple months, i mean its getting annoying. what happened to waiting a fews yrs and just making a new council? id rather wait till next yr and have them kick out an xbox 1080 or something with everything we need, hdmi, optical, blueray, bigger hd, usb inputs, and whatever else they can think up.

BluRay can read DVD9. So there shouldn't be any issues. I doubt very much you'd be able to drop a PS3 game in there and have it do anything. Cost won't be bumped, PS3 games sell for 59.99. Microsoft would need to eat the extra manufacturing costs and will probably encourage developers to still develop for DVD9 whenever possible. They will probably offset the manufacturing costs to the publisher/developer if they want to go BluRay. I don't mind the console continuing to evolve. The PS3 certainly has an edge right now, $399 for a game machine and hd movie player. Microsoft can't touch that so they need to do something. PS3 sales are picking up and 360 sales are going down. They ahve to do something.

Of course M$ expects sales to be strong. Everyone who already owns a 360 needs to buy a new one or a back up because they all keep failing.

I wonder what the catch on the Comcast deal is? Maybe a lifetime enrollment or your first born? If I didn't need them for internet I would certainly kick Comcast to the curb...and then run them over with my car a few times for good measure....

Deadliest Catch is suppose to be a very advanced simulation game. So if you're into Sims, this one's looking pretty good. It has actually peeked my interest but it comes out in the next week or two, too soon after GTA. I'll probably pick it up in the bargain bins.

The fucking Halo 3 box says 1080p? WTF. I hate it how HDTVs are now the norm but nobody in the industry respects the standards. You have HDTV Lite with Direct TV and now games that don't even come close to 720p.

The snow, it be honest, isn't that bad. I moved to Colorado from Michigan. It snows, then the next day it melts. Boulder is a little to "crunchy" for me. I have to go there, My tattoo artist is up there. I'll admit its pretty there.

No it probably doesn't have the Falcon board in it. The Core is a budget system so they'll be offloading the remaining stock of Zephyr boards in the cores and premiums.

I don't get why people are so upset over the L4D push? Was it better that it released the same week as gears so you didn't know which one to play? Lets face it, L4D would probably bet he one left sitting on the shelf. I LOVE that it was bounced to the 20th, by then i imagine i'll have finished the campaign in Gears 2 a few times and mostly be into multiplayer. So i'll be ready for a new game to play.
