TANKs BLOG : american idol finish

This was so funny i just have to share (I won't spoil the winner in case for some reason you don't know).

So my wife is totally into A.I. , i personally can't stand it. But she's been all into it this year even more than the last ones. She TiVo's it so she can skip most of the fluff in the show which is like 70% of the content i think but anyway...

We're watching it last night in bed. It gets all the way to the end and my wife's like oh i hope David Cook wins, he's the better choice for selling albums, what's that young kid going to sing really? Anyway she's all totally into this and Brian's announcing, And the winner is .... David... <end of recording> . The show went like a minute long or something so the tivo shut off and moved on to the next show it was schedule to record.

I almost peed the bed i laughed my ass off so hard. It was just such perfect timing, two Davids were the finalists and not a single syllable of the last name got said so she had no idea who the winner was. The look on her face when the recording stopped right then was just sheer gold. She made me look it up on my phone (after she was finished hitting me for laughing so hard) which was charging on my night stand because she couldn't go to sleep not knowing.

Anyway, i just had to share.
