Shared on Mon, 10/22/2007 - 09:55OK, the whole correct use of Your/You're and Their/There/They're really gets me. Examples:
At a Mexican restaurant, I saw a sign that discussed how beer could be purchased by club members and "they're guests" instead of "their guests"
In chat today, someone "maybe your right" instead of "maybe you're (you are) right"
These are important distinctions. And, the worst to me is the pure volume of incorrect usage that I see. It concerns me as to the future of this country when we can't even use simple words correctly.
