Intro

I think I’m going to dedicate my blog to Halo 2.  I may occasionally venture into the realm of real life events, but will try to provide information that will be helpful to the average player.  One warning: I am very generous with my use of “quoties.”

So, for blog post #1 let’s get the “RL” stuff out of the way:

My name is Jay; I live in Birmingham, AL and will have been married 2 years this July.  My wife is awesome, and is honestly the most attractive person I have ever met.  I definitely won the lottery with her; her only “flaw” is that she hates Halo.  I’d love for her to “come around” and learn to play and enjoy “Quality time Halo” but know that that’s not gonna happen… ever.  It’s my own fault, though.  While we were dating, I used to play EverQuest (aka EverCrack) which for those who don’t know is basically a glorified chat room.  I spent days and days playing that game, and she hated every minute.  The best thing that came from it, though, was that I was able to sell my account and online currency for about $720, which I used to buy a Samsung 32” flat screen CRT HDTV (TXP-3264 model), which rocks.  Playing H2 on it or watching HD cable is yummy – all for playing a game… not too shabby.

Anyway, I’ll wrap up the intro and try to post things I find helpful; hopefully it won’t turn into a “link-fest” of other sites.  I’m sure I can come up with some original thought at some point… we shall see…
