...down here. Seriously. Moms down here do some of the most horrendous things. Yeah, I know this happens in other parts of the country, but it seems like Texas has some of the most shocking.

Woman Throws Kids from I-30 Overpass into Rush Hour Traffic
DALLAS — Dallas police say a 28-year-old mother threw two of her children from the Jim Miller Road overpass into rush hour traffic on Interstate 30 Wednesday morning. She then leaped 14 feet to the pavement below.

The children were rushed to Children's Medical Center for treatment; they survived, but their conditions were not available.

"Especially with the traffic — the fast-moving traffic out on the freeway this time of the morning in the hours of darkness — it's a miracle that both kids weren't hit directly by a passing car," said Dallas police spokesman Sgt. David Burroughs.

The woman was taken to Baylor University Medical Center, where she was reported in critical condition.

This happened this morning.

They're saying on the radio that the kids are in better condition than the mom. Good news. I guess.

And these are only reported instances as well. I have 2 boys of my own and knowing how much I love them , I find it hard to comprehend how screwed up some people must be.

I don't understand how someone could do this to their child, their own flesh and blood.......What is happening in the world that is making people do this to themselves and their children.

Unbelievable. Just wondering, does Texas have a no-questions-asked infant/child surrender program? In Florida, a parent that wants to be rid of a kid can drop it off at a police or fire station or hospital (possibly more places). I don't think this is a common occurrence, but Florida ain't Texas (yet).
