That's 17-18 lay-offs that I have gone through now in the past 8 years.

I can only hope that these are the last for this year.  Our industry is pretty stable, so chances are good.

That's great news! Next time the cleaning crew comes around make sure you tell them: "I deal with the god damn customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people? "
