CFI request - Granted!

So. continuing saga of getting my kids back.

My lawyer put in a request for the CFI (child family investigator). and it was GRANTED!!! i think in the 4.5 years of my battle, this is the first big petition that i've had granted. I actually got to pick which CFI I wanted too. SCORE one for me!

What this means is that i will have a professional psychiatrist do a psych eval of me. Takes about 8hours. He'll also observe my interaction with my kids. I'm 100% positive he'll have a good report. Now - he'll also do the same thing for my ex-wife. I for one KNOW that she is three sheets to the wind, couple cards short of a full deck, missing some marbles, lights are on no one is home... I think you get the idea. I know this. And I fully expect a professional counselor/psychiatrist will be able to sniff out her "crazy eyes" within the 8 hours of evaluation that he'll do on her.

The big question left is... if he finds her nuts, will she be nuts enough for him to recommend that the kids go to me? I don't know. But this is as good a chance for me to save my kids from their crazy mother as ever. I'll be able to look them in the eyes when they're older and say - I tried everything I could short of kidnapping you to get you out of that situation.

My interviews are the week end of June 12th. I have until then to prepare. oh wait. i'm not crazy, so i guess i just have to keep being normal.
