Sweet jesus its the long weekend...plans?

Setup veggie garden and get the F$$$ planting....

oh and rent a couple games...COD3, GRAW2, Lost Planet, maybe a Star Wars something....I don't know...I'll have to see what available.

Still waiting for Blockbuster to lower prices on GRAW2 so I can buy it..I hate spending $70 on a new game but I may have to splurge to keep the honey bunny and brother happy, oh and me too!  Love the game, so addicting.

Where in Florida are you from? I moved from Delray Beach almost 2 years ago. I remember when my wife and I installed Pergo in our condo down there. We fought for 2 weeks straight ;)

Is it normal to fight with your spouse? Of course it is. Even the most perfectly matched duo in the world are different in many, many ways, and those differences will lead to disagreements and arguments down the road. Is it normal to question whether you married the right person? Sure it is. Is it normal to obsess about it? No. Taking yesterday's incident with a large lump of salt (anyone while they're sick is bound to be on edge and a lot easier to set off), you will want to address the underlying pressure with your wife. There's an obvious disconnect between her expectations and yours with regards to the upkeep of the house. I have had this EXACT same talk with my wife. Little background - I work, my wife doesn't. We have 3 kids, 2 of which are in school full time, 1 half-day kidnergarden. I view the house as part of her "job", if you will. However, that wasn't clear back when she started having a good portion of her day - 4 hours - without any kids to watch and deal with. Some of that I conceed to her to hit the gym...it's better she does than doesn't for all kinds of reasons. But I also had to make clear to her that some of that time should around the house. Long story short - we got on the same page regarding eachothers expectations and contributions, and haven't had any issues in a very long time. It's all about communication. Talk to your wife, and let her know that you're not happy with the state of things especially re: the house and its upkeep. Don't nail her to the cross over yesterday - you stayed home for her, so she could get better...no need to rub her nose in that when she was just out of sorts. But address the underlying issue and you'll be a lot happier in the long run. B. P.S. I only qualify ANY of that opinion above as someone married these 12+ years now. Nothing else... ;)

One thing I have learned with home improvement projects is that you are likely to have an argument at some point. For my wife and I, we both like to take charge when working on something. When that happens you end up having two leaders and zero workers which causes frustration. We always now try to establish from the beginning who is the lead on the task which has helped a ton. Secondly, when there is a combination of not feeling good plus the stress of home improvement you always have to keep that in the back of your mind.

Welcome fellow Canuck, in regards to getting or renting something I would rent COD3 as its staying power is just not worth a purchase. But if you have a few bucks you so need to get GRAW2 its well worth the money.

Don't forget to check out our Game Trade forum (http://www.2old2play.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=138) there has been a couple of Graw2's listed there lately. Also you can create a [WTB] topic looking for it. A Star Wars something? What about Star Wars Lego 2? I hear it's a fantastic game (just like the first one).

I just picked up Lego's II at Gamestop for $19.95 for my little boys. I must say, it is a fun game to play. If I can ever get them off, I might have to play through it.
