I was playing Crackdown with godWHYme last night. In the middle of the game we lost voice communications and I couldn't send anyone messages. When I try to send a message it says to to change some privacy settings. I fire up xbox.com and all of the options in privacy settings were set to blocked. This was pretty confusing. I set them all to everyone but that didn't save. I was getting frustrated. Then an answer came in my inbox. My gold subscription expired. Doh!

That's weird. I'm surprised it didn't just kick me off of multiplayer.

That seems pretty weird. With Silver you can still do audio chat, even video chat with the camera. You just can't do multiplayer games over Live. SO it seems like it did the total opposite, it should have kicked you from the game. Funny.

The funny part was It happened while I was going for the car collection achievement. i was having a tough time finding a particular car. this happened just as I found the car on shai gen's far island. godWHYme was trying to communicate to me. But instead of trying to answer I went to return the car first. I didn't want to loose the car. Then after that I had to figure out what was going on.
