Shared on Mon, 03/03/2008 - 12:55No, I am not telling you anything critical about the case since I really don't know much. I didn't get picked. I still have to call in to find out if I go tomorrow.
about 50 people showed up. I was part of the original 20 they picked to see if they could whittle down to 12. The case was about a DUI. Most of the questions to the jurors were like "Have you had a family member charge with a DUI and would that impair your ability to make a fair decision?" There wasn't any question that I though my judgement would not be fair so I ended up not answering any of the questions. I figured I'd end up as one of the 12. Nope. So this means I may still have to go in tomorrow for other cases. Either way, once tomorrow is done I will not be picked for 4 years. I was hoping to get in today and get it over with. A DUI case shouldn't last that long.
