Energy Management System

There are 3 parts to the energy management system -
  1. Shields
  2. Weapons
  3. Engines
It is *not* possible for all 3 of these attributes to be at their maximum at any given time. Each has a recharge rate on a scale from 1 to 8 (0 meaning no recharge). The total amount of recharge "points" available is 12. So, it's possible to have your engines at full (8) and your weapons and shields will only be at a recharge rate of 2 (i.e. slooooooow).

Engines: The engine energy doesn't have an effect on max-speed. It does, however, affect your rate of acceleration.
Weapons: How quickly do your weapons regain their charge (each shot takes away from the charge)
Shields: How quickly your shields recharge - When shields reach 0, you die.

I didn't get around to polishing up the energy "meters" so I'm not going to post up a screenie. I do however have a build ready for the testers tonight. Hopefully we can get a few people in there for longer than a few minuets.

Oh yeah...I enabled network encryption too. Hopefully that shouldn't slow things down too much.

Next up on the list I'm going to try and merge the newest version of Torque Game Builder (1.1.1) into my source code base (I'm at 1.1 now) and try to pick up some of their bug fixes and new features.
