Shared on Thu, 03/29/2007 - 07:38I went yesterday to pick up the second season of Carnivale, and decided that, for now, I would wait. I was really disappointed to learn that they cancelled it after season 2. Apparently the second season also ends in a cliff hanger..thanks SoupNazzi! I will probably watch it at some point just not ready for my disappointmnet to be realized. So I picked up The 4400. I was excited that I might have actually made a selection that my husband would enjoy..I mean it aired on the SCIFI channel, right? I called him all giddy and he refused to watch it. Said that he caught a few episodes and wasn't interested...at all. Not even enough to give it a try. Now I had been bugging him about LOST and up until now he refused that one as well..but hell we are running out of options here! When he told me to pick up LOST, I knew that he really really didn't want to watch The 4400. So, we started it last night and made it through the first disc and two episodes on the second. I knew I would like it, but I think he is enjoying it as well. 6 episods in all...WOOOHOOO..
I just got my daughter off to school, which because of my schedule I don't get to do much anymore. She throws an absolute fit with me. I don't uunderstand it. "I don't want to wear this shirt, it feels funny" "I don't know where my backpack is" "I wanna go to grannies and get dressed" "I won't ride the bus!" and the list goes on and on....I really am lost as to what to do about it. Maybe it's just her age and I know, I know..it only gets worse. Maybe by the time she reaches 20 I might have a decent relationship with her. It is still hard to accept that though.
