Just 4 weeks ago, my wife gave me my 1st daughter and has made me a proud father. Though I do have a son (he is 7), He was before xbox 360 and my online experience as far as video games was non existent. This time around however I found myself heavily addicted to cod mw2 and around 4-5 weeks prior to her birth I decided that my main focus was to be on finishing up getting her new room prepared and tending to the needs of my wife. Some might say that they would have found the time to still play whatever game they were playing, but due to the hours I was working and my new super busy homelife that was impossible and it only made life more exhausting for me. About a week ago I made a new friend (my wifes friends husband), and out of the blue he mentioned call of duty. I said I loved the game but I had to back away because of the coming baby. Later that night after they went home he sent me a friend request and I fired it back up. I now understand what it feels like to relapse! Though I do put the baby first, I have managed to work out a few hours a night that I can get on and play. I guess what I'm trying to say in all of this is that, if video games are childish to some people, then they have forgotten what it does feel like to be a kid again.
