Happy New Year

I have to work today.  Blah!  Working only 2 days last week rocked!  Well, I am off tomorrow just cuz it is a holiday.  I have nothing planned for tonight or tomorrow.  That's just me.  I will likely be alone on the internet doing whatever I get to do.  Hubby will expect me to have a drink and the usual toast to each other again this year.  It's easier just to go along with that.  Tradition, ya know.  Enuf said.

The road trip this year is starting to take shape.  I do think I will be staying in the southern part of the country.  I have set my sights on Virginia, maybe Tennessee, and Texas.  I would like to see my "sister" in New Mexico, but that's starting to get very loooong.  Still doable, tho.  Texas is pretty big, and I intend to cover quite a bit of it.  I will be travelling the last 2 weeks in April.  w00t!  The problem is, once I get going west, I will want to cover a lot more.  Oklahoma, Kansas, Oregon.....now I'm all the way to the west coast!  Yikes, I don't think that is doable.  Well, I could fly some of it, like I did last year.  hmmmmm

I have been working full time for over 2 months now and I'm starting to get used to it.  Yeh, I have been spoiled.  But, the extra money and paid vacation are very nice.  I still have my running away from home money, which I haven't touched.  Nice.  And, one more thing!  I am already thinking LAN!  Yes!  After my road trip in April, it will not be that far away.  Good times!
