Last Wednesday the 7th of March, my wife of 6 years, had surgery on her foot and knee. the foot had a ruptured tendon that had to grafted back on. Her knee had a couple of tears in the cartilage She got through the surgeries with flying colors. She stayed in the hospital over the weekend, and was finally moved to the local nursing home where she will get the care she needs to recover. She is a little homesick, so I sent here some flowers and balloons today. We also found out that our personal banker got a hold of the insurance provider and persuaded them to pay for the stay at the nursing home. she is supposed to stay there for 4 to 6 weeks.

Oh man, that's a long time. Get her hooked on gaming if she isn't already.

Perhaps a Nintendo DS would help her keep her busy for a little bit. Best wishes for recovery, I'm sure that won't be easy or pain free.
