Shared on Wed, 03/19/2008 - 15:36What's happening? Not a whole lot. I'm just practicing my patience while waiting for Gamefly to ship RB6V2 or Frontlines:Fuel of War. For some reason that isn't too clear, to me, Gamefly is waiting until Thursday to release the game for rentals. Only thing I can figure is this may be some sort of BS agreement with the publisher to make sure gamers that are buying the game have first crack at it. Seem pretty silly to me if that is the case, but when do businesses ever give a damn about consumers after they get your money. Meh...
In the meantime, I'm playing Crackdown. Apparently I reset the gangs at some point and missed some achievements, so I guess there is something to do.
On the diet front, check out this 'report card'...
Weight Change Statistics ( 02/09/2008 - 03/19/2008 )
Start Weight: 226.9lb on 02/09/2008
End Weight: 196.4lb on 03/19/2008
Total Change: 30.5lb lost
Avg. Weekly Change: 5.47lb lost per week
Maximum Weight: 226.9lb on 02/09/2008
Minimum Weight: 195.8lb on 03/18/2008
Projected 4 Weeks: 175lb on 04/16/2008
Projected 12 Weeks: 131lb on 06/11/2008
So I should hit my second goal sometime in the first or second week of April. Sweet.
I guess I shouldn't be too concerned about all the up and down weight issues I've been having. Some days I'll drop two or three pounds for a couple days, then gain part of it back and then see-saw fractions of a pound for about four days until the cycle repeats. Yesterday I had a five pound drop, then today gained back 6 tenths of a pound. Tomorrow should be interesting, but then I predict I'll go into a four day see-saw pattern again.
Diet analysis shows very steady calorie and sodium levels, with fat and carbs jumping around a bit (but at least I'm trying to corral those cats) and protein taking a recent jump due to adding a third RTD shake during my evening snack area. If I thought it would do any good I would plan a week to eat the same thing everyday at the same time just to watch how the weight fluctuates with the exercise.
Slight change in exercise, I've added a 10-15 minute elliptical 'warm-up' before going out cycling. Time will tell if it is helping as much as I think it is.
What else? Hmm. Nothing moving in the elections until Penn votes in late April. The economy is still grinding to a halt, but at least the Feds are bailing out banks (not that it well save anyone's mortgage). Gas prices are only just beginning to rise (maybe I should have bought a Honda Fit instead of a Scion xD) and therefore, so will food prices (good thing I'm on a diet). And then there is The Dastard and SoupNazzi showcasing regrettable tats...
