My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to NotStyro throwing down with the games. We added 325 points of gamerscore which ain't too shabby. Getting 15 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!
Out of all the possible new games we could have tried this last week, NotStyro and I only tried one of them: Turning Point. Pretty fun I guess... Also, by my expert calculations, NotStyro's favorite game last week was Turning Point. He played it on 6 of the days.
It takes a gamer score like 4950 to be as cool as him. That is a profit of 60 points over last time! He opened up Turning Point gaining 2 achievements, and without even blinking! Ok, maybe he blinked once...
Yes. I am finally done with Turning Point and it is on its way back to Gamefly in Tampa. So I'm back to the relatively glitch-free Crackdown, COD4, TF2, Gears, DDRU2 and C&C3. Also, very shortly, I will cease attempting to play during my work week (Fri-Mon). Between diet planning, exercising, work and sleep I have very little time to do anything else. I'll have my 100 days of gaming badge on the 360blog and that will be that.
The diet is going great. I'm within 1.6lbs of my first goal, so I may hit that very soon. I still haven't gotten a point on what causes the once-a-week see-saw weight problem. I seemed to have been bouncing around .2 (point 2) lbs over the past few days. But the diet has been uneventful. Guess I should blame it on the stress of working odd hours during the time change this past weekend.
In a comment on the last blog entry Raider30 gave a couple good tips. I should really try to vary my workouts. I have a Weider Total Body Works 5000 'gym' so I should start to use it. It is just that I get such a damn good and easily measurable workout by cycling around town. Ok, no excuses, it'll be moved, setup, cleaned, tested, and used this weekend.
The second tip was eating several small meals instead of a few big ones. My plan is to eat something once every 1 to 1.5 hours, unless I'm not hungry and won't fall too behind on the calories. I swear that some days I could just drop the between meal foods, but to do that would drop me below 1K calories and that probably isn't a good idea for an active adult.
Here is the FitDay journal and TheDailyPlate journal.
Hmm, oh yeah, for Mulchinator, aren't you glad I said 'small' instead of 'tiny'.
