Tornado Alley

driving home from work on I45 going west, suddenly i heard the tornado sirens go off, flippped off I45 onto Reno decided id get me a route44 cherry coke at Sonic. turned the radio on to hear them talk about domed low hanging, slowling spinning clouds bout 5 miles from where im at rotating over lake Overhaulster (where i tend to fish) just east of bethany where i live! holy crap luckyday!! i had to go see it!

i excused myself out of Sonic, i was talking and kinda flirting with this fine as hell petite redhead, dipped onto Reno doing almost 60mph not bothering to watch the road ahead of me but glancing inbetween buildings towards the North trying to see the funnel cloud, the closer i got to Council Rd (by lake overhaulster) the more whipping rain and the bigger the hail (said on the radio that it got to tennis ball sized), finally got to Overhaulser lake just to see a big mass of clouds moving towards the NE...the tornado was rain wrapped and out of my range of travel...

this is just the begining of tornado season and i just barely missed the 1st tornado, watching the news and looking at the interactive weather map on the weatherchannel.com, all the storms are passing from SW to NE just skirting my position, so far they said that theres over 30,000ppl without electricity in NE Okc..UPDATE : now there showing helicopter footage of houses with there roofs torn off..

at the moment im sitting on my balcony watching the storm front lazily pass by enjoying the sound of my chimes, as the cool winds blowing through my apartment...every so often a cascade of lightening and thunder in the distance..damn i love tornados..

i'm going to put my digital camera in my car, next time we have a tornado and we'll have several ill be sure to take some photos and post 'em on here..
