Weekend Movie Update

Holy crap!  I saw Cloverfield last night and all I can say is that this movie freaking rocks!!!  It blew me away.  Seriously one of the best movies I've seen in a while.  JJ Abrams is a genius (as if you didn't already know that from Lost).  The flick was intense, scary, action packed, funny, touching and just plain crazy fun.  I highly recommend it and give it two huge thumbs up.  Can't wait to buy this one on DVD and add it to the collection. 

Also, saw the first teaser trailer for the new Star Trek reboot movie that JJ is doing.  It was short and only showed some shots of the Enterprise being built but I have to saw it excited me.  I am by no means a Star Trek fan but with JJ on this project I am definately interested.  Its on my list of flicks to see for sure now.
