A night on the town

Well tonight the wife and I finally get to go on a date night. I can't even remember the last time we had the opportunity for one so its a big deal.

Kids are going to the grandparents house to spend the night. So we will not only have the entire evening but also most of tomorrow as well. Maybe we'll squeeze in a little X-mas shopping while the rugrats are away.

We have dinner reservations at a swanky new restaraunt downtown. Can't wait. Got a gift card for this place and we've been dying to try it out.

And we've got some kick ass tickets to see Dane Cook live tonight on the first leg of his new comedy tour. The wife and I freaking love Dane. He's one of the funniest dudes on the planet and we bust a gut everytime we watch him. Funny thing is, we meant to buy tickets for this show weeks ago but dragged ass cuz the wife didn't want to spend that much money. However it seems we were destined to see this show. As fate would have it, a guy my brother works with got some free tickets from his parents. Seems they donated large sums of money to the events center and get tix to pretty much anything they want. For some strange reason they signed up for Dane tix and they didn't want to go. So they gave them to the dude my bro works with. Thing is, the dude hates Dane so he was gonna give them to my bro. Well, my bro hates Dane too (lots of haters) and hates leaving his house even more so he gave them to us. So now we get to see a sweet show for free and the seats are WAY better than any we would have bought.
