Lunch

I went to lunch with my dad today and in his car on the way back, he had 'Sirius Ez Listening' or something on the radio. Now 'We've Only Just Begun' is going to be stuck in my head all damn day. How is it that I have never actively listened to any EZ listening station in my life, yet I know every single word of every song they play on those stations? I think my ma must have listened to that shit nonstop when I was in the womb.

In other news, I have 3 days off and normally would be looking forward to a weekend of gaming action. But the girlfriend's mom is in town and staying with us, so I need to compete for TV time. It seems all she ever wants to watch is Ice Age in spanish, and old mexican black & white movies where the guys all wear sombreros the size of a satellite dish.  I can't imagine she will be thrilled at the prospect of watching me play Deadliest Catch, exciting as the game may be. I foresee mass quantities of alcoholic consumption in the forecast for the weekend!
