Games!
Though I must say for recent essay/presentation/finals stress relievers, gameswise I have been going between "playing" Flower on PS3 and Borderlands.
I go from one game that is so not a game it becomes one, requires patience and a nearly zen point of view to appreciate it yet also to stop one's self from taking a controller and tossing it in gamer frustration while shouting "What the blazes do you mean this is a game??!!"
Versus...
Something that is so visceral, violent, silly, sometimes ridiculously inappropriately funny yet gives instant gratification and allows my thoughts to focus on the enemy, the mission, the strategy, the prey, the hunt and the goal. And the quotes, "This is where cars live come git you one!"
Sometimes I do enjoy a good contradiction, don't you?
So....are you bouncing between two games that seem to have no relation to each other totally opposite? Is it a mood thing with you, too? Are you close to hitting some goals you've been working toward or chugging along on one you've got in your sights? Congrats either way.
I am less than 3 weeks from graduation.
Almost there.
