(This is the second time typing the damn thing, I hit the back button on my mouse and lost my previous post. FUCK!!!)

 

Update on what is going on with life:

Baby News:

Teri and I decided to go through the procedure I was talking about in a previous blog. The procedure went well. We decided to do this to give the twins more developement time, and to make things on Teri during the pregnancy not so problematic..

So here is the score so far:

1 boy and 1 unknown. We should find out in the next coupld of weeks what the second one is. I think it will be a girl, Teri thinks it is a boy. We shall see. I told her my top two names for a boy were Thor and Zeus and she told me I was on crack..Oh we shall see...we........shall............see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we have started looking around for cribs, strollers, car seats and all the freaking crap you need for kids. And we need two of almost everything..Fuck..

The due date is mid to late March.

 

Gaming News:

So I have been splitting my gaming time up between Chromehounds and Halo.

CH is really cool, I like trying different builds for mechs to try and find my niche. I have joined a new squad since my profanity squad left me or doesn't come on any more. The guys over at OMM HellHounds have been cool enough to let me in!! They are a great bunch of guys, the ones I have mainly been playing with are Gaius Ceasar, RockCrawler, Relic, BigOne, Lonewolf, PDT, and..uh..I think I am forgetting someone sorry. These guys are a riot and make me laugh!! Rock in a freaking insane mofo!! Not that is like a bad thing or something, more like an big brother on your ass type of thing. Which is cool.

Halo is actually starting to become a little old for me. The only real reason I even go back and play halo is because of the people I play with. Even though the profanity guys never send me invites any more. (Suck it!!!) That's sorta ok, but I do miss playing with those guys, for the most part they are only playing mlg customs right now, and after two hours of those games I kinda get tired of the same stategies over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over..The other half of my peeps are running in match making, but we are usually we are running in larger rooms so that means btb slayer and carnage. And the same thing applies there too, the same strategies over, andf over, and over, plus network advantage, and lag. Like I said before the only reason I play Halo anymore is because of the people. Otherwise I would be on 360 games full time.

I am sure when Halo 3 comes out everyone will be back in that and I am totally looking forward to that. I saw a coupld of rumours that H3 might be out in March, and I feel sorry for the people that are going to buy a 360 when H3 comes out, I can just see the shortages happening again and some poor bastards are going to be left out in the cold. Untill new stock comes in that is..

Update: It has come to my attention that I am not in the Hellhounds, fuck..I don't know. All I know is who the hell I play with well kinda, sorta.

 

Life in General:

I have been shopping around for new car insurance and home owners insurance and I think I have found a good deal. Mercury is coming in at around 400.00 bucs cheaper a year for the combined policies. So I think I am going to sign up with them.

I am also starting to shop for a new second on my house. My second right now is a variable rate and I am tired of up going, up and up. Plus I want to roll in our last car payment a our only credit card into that loan. My goal is to hopefull get a nice appraisle and have some extra room on the second to maybe do some investing in the future on some rental property. But with the twins on the way, I really do not know what is going to happen.

Dude! My wife is named Terry too, but I gotta say...you're not on the Hellhounds squad (what a bunch of losers THEY are) you are on the Old Man Mafia squad. Disclaimer: The OMM has two CH squads and I'm just bustin on the Hellhounds (and LB for not knowing which squad he was in).

But I did not look forward for paying two co-pays. You would think one mom, one Utlrasound. NOPE, two babies, two ultrasounds two co-pays, get used to it. But you don't need two of everything. Somethings you will want different. The funny thing will be when each one has the same identical toy, yet one brother fights for the one that his bother has. ??? A couple of resources to help you save money down the road: I know that Babys R US gives a twin discount. 50% off the second of an identical item, not much but helps for the big stuff like cribs and such. Have your wife look in to a mothers of mulitples club. My wife joined the San Fernando Valley club (http://www.sfvmomc.org/), and I am sure there is one in the OC. They are a great resource for advice, ways to find new friends, and, at any given time, families are looking to get rid of used stuff and it can be picked up for pretty cheap. You are going to be spending a lot of money on diapers. We were definitely spending over $100 a month. I would recommend some cloth diapers. http://www.fuzzibunz.com I know you may be skeptical, and I was too but these things work great, they are not your mother's cloth diapers. I they paid for themselves after a couple months. We use some additional paper liners to handle the real mess. You end up doing laundry about everyother day, but you are going to do that anyway trust me. Plus I felt that I no longer needed my own landfill for the diapers I was throwing away. Congrats LB, lookin at your gamer pic it seems twins are in your blood. Ya me and X did ivf and had twin girls, healthy and awesome! Lotsa work for X, she was on bedrest for 11 weeks to try and keep them from bein premature. They were about 4 weeks anyway though, stayed in icu a couple weeks but ok. carbon gave ya some good info, the local branch of Mothers of Multiples had these awesome garage sales that ROCKED. Nice sets of clothes cheap, dont stress LB get your rest for those 3 hrs o sleep nites. Good Luck.
