Comics, Ladders and Boobies, OH My!!

So its been a while folks. I think my last blog was couple of weeks ago. Well not to much has really happened/changed over that time. Just seems like it has been a while.

I am glad it is friday, the week has been going by very, very, slow..Tomorrow my intermediate ladder begins. This shoulbe be pretty cool. It will be a nice change to play some goofy fun games, instead of the hard core mlg style. Dont get me wrong, I am also participating in te draft league, that has a lot of the top end ;;h2 ;;guys ;;from the site in it.. I am projecting I will be drafted somewhere in the lower part of the draft (if not last), that is cool, I am not to worried about it. after reading soups blog and articles to see how tough it was for them at mlg. I know exactly where my skills are. I think it will be cool to learn some new stuff, hopefully the team I get drafted on will have some cool guys/gals...

As some of you have read, I have started my comic book cataloging and scanning project. Let me tell you this is going to be a royal pain in the ass. I have put around 15 to 16 hours of time into it, and that is just scanning cover art for about a quarter of my collection. There is still the cataloging all the info into a db, pricing my collection, and then eventually getting my "gems" officially appraised (at around 30 bucks per comic) to find out an accurate total value of my collection. yeah, I know...What a geek!!! This is going to take a very, very long time.

61 days until the Lan. Woot!! I still need to buy my plane ticket, but I will probably be doing that over the next week. Hope I luck out and get a decent deal. Oh well we will just have to see what happens.
