But outside my apartment right now there no less that 10 or 12 frogs and it sounds like they're having a....well...you know...and I'm not talking about a tupperware party. Good grief they are loud! And rythmic too...I'm half tempted to grab a mic, record some of it and put it to techno music. LIGHTSWITCH RAVE.

Anyhoo,
I've become quite alarmed with the amound of RRoD's people have been experiencing lately. I guess because I've become more involved with the blogosphere here that I'm really noticing. Several blogs start with "My Xbox got the RROD today"....."The coffin arrived"...."Xbox is back from the shop"....
It's unnerving to the say the least. I got my 360 back in July, just weeks before Halo 3 was released, I picked up the Halo 3 Special Edition XBox. I did some research and found out I have the Falcon chipset, which is supposed to result in fewer failures. So hopefully, mine will be spared from RRoD-dom.
Of course, you could look at it from another angle. if my Xbox did RRoD, I could take it as a sign from God. Robin Williams once said "Cocaine is God's way of saying 'you're making too much money'.....maybe RRoD is God's way of saying 'I created an outside you know...'
Just a thought.
Anyway, all the failures gave me an idea for a story. I'm not bored with The Jericho Files in any way, (4.2 will be out tomorrow, just for you) but I thought I'd try my hand at writing in a different style.
I'll deliver the first chapter hopefully soon.
The book "Revenge!" by Robert Barr appears to be a series of short stories regarding murder mysteries and people exacting revenge regarding these murders. The first few have been very short and to the point, but very well told. I'm digging this book. It was written some time in the early 1900's or 1910's...so it's not a current book. Still a great read.
Oh! And there's the "single most important petition of our lives" currently available.
