The 60GB Conundrum

I originally was going to post a sarcastic letter to XBox about the fact that a 60GB hard drive they sell doesn't come with a transfer cable, but I have decided to just be nice about it.

The 60GB Xbox Starter Kit doesn't come with a transfer cable. Be warned if you plan on buying it. I understand that it's being marketed as a starter kit, but they should still assume that people would buy to upgrade their 20GB hard drives. Yeesh.

The GOOD news in this all is that Xbox is sending me a transfer cable. It just has to get here :)

What a day for it to happen too. Came into some extra cash (don't ask) and was able to buy the hard drive, Fable II and Rock Band 2.

I'm glad to have some new games. Now, I need some new friends! I did get a good group of friends when I was playing CoD 4, but now I don't really play FPS' online anymore. So if anybody reading the blog would like to meet up with me on these games, add my GamerTag!

Now if you'll excuse me (didn't you miss me Char?) I gots some gaming to do.

I think only the 120 comes with the transfer cable. With the Elite you can get it free but have to fill out a form and wait. No reason why they shouldn't be giving it out to 60gb buyers either since they're buying it to upgrade their 20's most likely. Sometimes microsoft does some stupid stuff but at least you got it free whihc is how it should be.
