Christmas Eve, at last!!

As an Indonesian myself, my biggest gripe about living in the western world is the fact that nobody can cook a decent meal.

Nah, we asians understand that a meal is supposed to be a meal. I think that in the western world food is either to shitty to be called food (bad quality, indifferently prepared or just plain awful), to too fancy to touch. Ever since there are this cookingshows on the tv, people seem to think that everything has to be "enhanced" and presented on a layer of spinach, so to speak. That isn't a meal too, let alone that it can be called food. A meal, just a normal meal. It's a lost art.

Wow that sucks man sounds like you need to come to the states to have dinner . I'm not fan of fancy cause that's just not me but the cooking shows I did watch Anthony Bourdain was the one that stuck out the most probably cause he looked a "real meal ' most the time but let me know if you need some recipes I live with.my mom now and she does old school Italian cooking and I'm sure I got a few myself I could provide you with
