And the third night is half done...

 

    As this auto-posts on the HQ, the third of four nights is over, and I'm making my way to bed. The last day of the work rotation is finally here, and in just 24 hours, the Good Lord, willing, I'll be home!! Effie, baby, I love you!! I'll be home for coffee in the morning!! As it happens, I'm still trying to shake my last head cold. Yesterday morning, I managed to sleep a bit more than the previous day, so I think I feel better. Regardless, one thing will definitely make me feel better: Going home to my Effie!

     As I mentioned on yesterday's blog, I found my Valve account info. After waking up Friday, I was able to reactivate my online account. Before leaving for work, I downloaded and installed Half-life 2 (which I actually bought twice over the years, not knowing that Valve knows who you are and what you own, lol) and Half-life 2 deathmatch. I didn't have time to actually play either, but I'm kinda tickled to renew my long-time love affair with one of the greatest games ever made.

     As noted in the Call of Duty news links below, a play list update has rolled out for Modern Warfare 3. It'll be interesting to see what the reactions from the fan base are to the new game modes, as well as what user-generated game types players come up with. Moving on...
