Shared on Mon, 03/12/2007 - 10:59If it isn't bad enough that car theft occurrences are insanely high here in Winnipeg, this past Friday a stolen car purposely ran down a 49 year old jogger! This was after the same car buzzed a handful of other joggers.
WTF?!?!
I hope these kids are found... actually I don't think it will make a difference, they'll get their little hands slapped and be back on the streets in no time. The Young Offenders Act is a joke, and it desperately needs to be amended so further steps can be done to keep punk ass car thieves off the streets, especially ones who try to run down pedestrians.
This better not be the new 'thing' that is 'cool' among car thieves in the city, or I'm moving!
