So the other day my wife and I are on the train from downtown crossing heading out of Boston. I noticed this man talking to himself as I've seen people like him and just ignore it. The train arrives I sit down and the man talking to himself sits 2 seats away from me,he then see a seat open up directly across from me and moves to it . I decided to keep me my head down as not stare at the man anymore, as I look up due to the feeling of eyes apon me I noticed the man had mimiced the way my hand was on my face. I found it funny and figured mabey he was trying to make me laugh, but that wasn't the case..He says to me " you find something funny boy?!"..I said yes I found it funny they way you mimiced me..he then proceeds to mumble something and say a few profanitys in my direction wich I still didn't take offence..Then he shouts out " Man is my enemy,Man is my enemy" while looking in my direction..My wife turns to me and says "No soap is his enemy"..By this point I think the man had enough of us and moved down the other end of the train..I watched him stand near the train door next to 2 women, one of those women didn't seem to enjoy his mumblings or his apprent odor and moved to the other train door across from where she was standing..The train stops at Bunker hill college and the doors open up..The man that has been talking to himself then turns to the girl that was standing next to him and point's to her and says "Merry Christmas to you " he then points to the girl that moved away from him and says "But not to you"..My wife and I are getting a laugh out of this ..the man then walks by the train door where we are sitting and and says to us " your going to burn in a lake of fire, your going to burn in a lake of fire " Of course my wife and I laugh and I now have Iron Maiden stuck in my head "Can I play with madness'..So I guess the moral of my story is go for a ride on the trains in boston it might be worth the laugh

Thanks

I went to college in Boston, and saw crazy people on the T all the time. Plus I used to work in the old Tower Records at the corner of Mass and Newbury, and their were always crazies loitering right the entrance of the T there as well. Nearly every break time was entertaiment.

I would have had Nirvana jump to mind before Iron Maiden, but that's funny.

sounds like you're a freak magnet. i too am cursed with this magnetism. my wife tries not to stand to close while we're in public, or she gets sucked into the maddness as well.
