Well Poop...

After doing some calculations and looking at my expenses through the rest of the year....it doesn't look like I'll be making the jump to current gen consoles anytime soon. At least not this year. A little bummed about that. But ah well. Such is life.

It may be for the best anyways. I honestly don't know what system I'd go for first. I'd like to get both for different reasons. The PS4 for The Order 1886, Last of Us and a few other exclusive re-releases that I never got on PS3. And the Xbox One for Halo Master Chief Collection, and the next Gears of War title.

My worry is...that once I can finally snag a Xbox One, no one will be playing the Halo MCC anymore...Halo 5 may be the new bread & butter. I don't know.

And I'm a little annoyed about Destiny. I apparently got it on the wrong console (xbox 360), so won't be getting any new strike missions until later next year since they are Playstation exclusives. Maybe by then I'll feel like going through and starting over again on the PS4 if I do get one. Just sucks to get burned and then find out to get the real (best) experience, you need to re-buy the game on a different console and rebuy the DLC that you're getting screwed out of on the first console you bought it on. I may just hang it up. I enjoy playing it...but damn I'm tired of the strike missions already. They are really the only way to get anything decent other than doing the raid. Which I honestly don't want to do right now. I guess I just got burned out on it too quickly.

In other news. Starting to put together a schedule and content for my Youtube channel. It's pretty fun. Dunno if it's something I could do full time. But who knows. At least it's fun. I'll post links and updates as I get things done.

Catch you all on the flip side.

I'm totally in love with The Last of Us. I have the limited Ellie edition on the PS3, a huge frigging Ellie-poster on my wall, a TLoU controller, the artbook, the guide, a spare PS3 copy and Remastered for my PS4.

Playing the heck out of it, even though I know what's going to happen, where the goodies are, how to conserve shivs, what upgrades to get first, what to craft and what not... And still, this game refuses to leave my system... I can't really say that as a game it's 'awesome'. The story though... compelling, compelling, compelling.

I'm hoping for a sequel!
