Some inbred guy who works for either FedEx or UPS decided to not take the whole shipment of games from there center in Memphis Tennessee. He just happened to leave the Gears of War shipment for my ENTIRE FUCKING AREA....
So no one gets it in my area unless they go with the regular edition at Target and are lucky enough to get them before they are sold out. I am not one of these lucky people.
Hopefully the shipment comes to EB before closing. Im going to hang out there and shoot the shit with some friends while I wait. If its not, I will have to pick my copy up tomorrow afternoon around lunch time.
What does this do? Kills my boner for the game is what it does.
At this point I wonder if the game is worth all this aggravation...and I wonder if I would be better off just getting my money back and waiting around until all the stores are stocked this weekend. Then just play on my birthday or something.
But then I come to my senses and say WTF DUDE! NO! I will have this fucking game tonight...if I have to drive to Fucking ATLANTA GEORGIA to get it.
If I have to meet JollyRoger in a dark back alley with the cash and a box of snickers bars I will do it.
I didnt get a hard on for this game for no reason. PS3 fans are converting to the 360 because of this game. People who doubted my fanboy-ishness are now converted and are in the "Church of Gears".
Its a game of epic preportions. And Im tired of not being able to be a part of it.
So as the metal head that I am, I will shake my fist at the sky, shout a few blasphemous banterings, and then make my trek to wherever I need to go get this goddamn game!
