Still no Gears yet...and a little update about Julia...

Well Julia should be going home today. I called her at the hospital before I went to work this morning and she sounded good. Tired, but a little more upbeat than yesterday. So thats a plus.

I'll be glad when she's back home again. And hopefully there wont be any more incidents for a while. I wanna spend my birthday weekend with her if its possible.

Now onto the Gears of War bit...

STILL NO GEARS! No...I dont have it in my grubby little hands yet. At 12:00 pm today Im going to call my local EBgames and see if its come in. If they tell me its not there, I will be getting my money back from them and doing some major bitching. Its not the people at the stores fault...which is why I will request talking to the district manager. HE will be the one hearing my bitching.

Basically...my excitement has been beaten with a big stick and left for dead. Im still getting the game...whenever this damn city happens to get a copy in. But Im not giddy like I was.

Some of you will probably say...aww cmon man. Its just one day...that not much of a difference in wait. It is for me because I missed out on a community event last night. I enjoy being a part of the community...and missing out on something like this, especially with this particular game....just kinda put the dark cloud over my head. I hate missing out on stuff like that. HOPEFULLY Emergence Day will go without a hitch...of course the local Bellsouth service may go out for the day while they upgrade or something. That would be my luck.

I know there will be plenty of Gears being played for weeks to come, but I cannot claim that first night. And that kinda makes me sad.

I know I know....wah wah wah....want some cheese with that wine? No...Im lactose intolerant ya dick! :P

I'll write something up about it  when I finally get it.
