Shared on Tue, 09/12/2006 - 07:31Was late for work this morning. Lemme rewind to explain why.
Yesterday before I get into my car to head home from work, I notice my two front tires are kind of low. So when I get home I pull up to the garage of my parents place (since they have an air compressor) and ask if I can use it. So I fill up my tires. Get back in the car, start it up. Engine goes dead soon after starting. Hmm odd. So I start again, same thing. Start again this time revving the engine a little. As soon as my foot comes off the gas, engine dies. Its not the battery...all the lights come on and the radio and AC work and all that.
I let it sit for 30 minutes or so. I try again. It doesn't idle at all....engine dies right after cranking it up. After another 5 minutes of threats of the scrap yard and curses of hellfire...it starts and idles. So Im like WOOOO! I get it back to my place without a hitch.
This morning - it happens again. It won't idle at all now. No matter how long I rev and let it sit. But here's the kicker. I start the A/C for shits and giggles because its muggy. As soon as I do that and try the engine...it starts up and idles fine. WTF?
Im not stupid though. I dont risk it and have to ask for a ride to work. So tonight I have to play House: Auto Mechanic and see if I can figure out whats wrong.
Thats all for now.
