Shared on Mon, 09/11/2006 - 07:17Feeling better. Still not 100% but Im getting there. Just need to take it slow for a couple of days to fully recoup. So no workout or anything like that till later in the week.
As for food Im just eating a little bit whenever Im hungry. Im mostly drinking water and gingerale to keep me full. Still coughing up technicolor wonders and sinuses are draining bad. Its affected my voice so that even Julia didn't recognize my voice on the phone.
She goes to see a new doctor today. Hopefully this doctor will actually listen instead of just mhm mhm...thats nice. Here's some new medicine that will take 2 weeks for your system to get used to. Side effects include throwing up all the time, never sleeping, voices and other such things.
Im praying something good comes from this today. She really needs a good doctor.
Anyway. Back to me. lol.
My dad said he would help me out with cutting down my arcade cabinet a bit. Its too big and Im no good with power tools. So when thats done maybe it will be a manageable size. Then all I will need is a huge-ass PC monitor and a PC & sound system to go into it. And it'll be good to go. Other than painting and whatnot that is. I'll be working on some custom artwork for the bezel and side art as well.
If anyone on the site has built an arcade machine and could offer some suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.
Also, I'm gonna be finally building my Dreamcast arcade stick. Except Im torn...I wanted to make a joystick that will work with my dreamcast and Xbox, but to do that will be awfully expensive. So I think Im just going to make one for each console, that way Im not buying adapters out the ass and I have 1 for each console. That way I can use 3 different designs...because I can never settle on 1 design. I'm picky like that.
If anyone has some artwork suggestions, just let me know.
